What we make

One product. Made properly.

We make TMX reinforcement steel — and only TMX. Rolled, quenched, and tested perfection, batch after batch. No compromise, no excuses.

01

Patented double-rib pattern

Our signature rib geometry doubles the surface contact between bar and concrete — measurably stronger bond, less slippage on long pours.

02

Thermo-mechanical treatment

Bars are water-quenched at the rolling mill: a hard outer skin for tensile strength, a soft inner core for ductility — the best of both, baked in.

03

Italian rolling-mill technology

Mill equipment from Italy — the kind that runs European job-site steel — installed and tuned in Khartoum. Cleaner rolling, fewer stoppages, steadier metal.

04

Fully integrated production

Smelting, casting, and rolling, anchored at our Soba Alsabil site. We control the chemistry of every batch — and we stand behind the quality of every batch.

05

Bend, re-bend, no cracking

High elongation (≥9%) means our bars take a 90° bend cold and come back. Site fabricators can shape rings and stirrups without worry.

06

Three standards, one bar

Every batch tested against SSMO, BS 4449, and IS 1786. The paperwork matches the metal.

Production process

From scrap
to standard.

Every Omega bar passes through five deliberate stages — we test, we adjust, we hold the standard. Bar by bar, batch by batch.

  1. Step 01
Sorted scrap metal feeding the Omega plant 01

    Scrap sorting

Incoming scrap is graded, magnetically separated, and chemistry-checked before it ever sees a furnace. Clean inputs, predictable outputs.

  2. Step 02
Induction furnace melting steel scrap 02

    Induction melting

The induction furnace runs at 1,600 °C, melting batches in minutes and giving us full control of carbon, sulphur, and phosphorus levels.

  3. Step 03
Continuous casting of molten steel into billets 03

    Continuous casting

Liquid steel is cast straight into square billets. No ingots, no re-heating waste — the metal flows from melt to mould without interruption.

  4. Step 04
Glowing red-hot steel bar emerging from the rolling mill 04

    Hot rolling

Reheated billets pass through Italian mill stands that draw them down to size. Water-quenched on exit — TMT-treated to lock in strength.

  5. Step 05
Worker performing a bend test on Omega reinforcement bars 05

    Quality control

Every batch is pulled, bent, and weighed in our on-site lab. Diameter, yield, tensile, elongation — all logged.
